Current event Pesticides residue in fruits and vegetables

The 2011 is International year of chemistry. Very important part of chemistry is analytical chemistry. We use this part of science for determination of pesticide residues in food and environment. Pesticides are used to control pests that destroy the crops, but these pesticides are toxic to human life and store in fats of human body if an individual consume fruits that contain pesticide on its surface.
The new study have revealed that fruits that have peel have more chances of containing pesticides and if the person consume it then these chemical toxins stored in fats and can cause harmful effects.
So, we must be very careful when we eat a fruits like apple, peach, pear, apricot and other fruits which are eaten along with the peel. And peeling that apple might not make sense because many of its nutrients are in the skin, he said. In addition, pesticides can enter a fruit through the plant’s roots.
“They put out this study, and it only serves to scare people away from the exact food they should be eating,” said one director.
But, it is possible to eat healthy fruits. From pesticides we can protect if we eat the organic agricultural products.
The organic fruit and vegetables grow without pesticide and represent the food of future.
